Yes! During the Great Migration season (July to September), our itineraries include visits to areas near the Mara River in Kenya’s Maasai Mara National Reserve, where you’ll have the chance to witness the famous river crossings. This is one of the highlights of our summer tours!

• July to October (Great Migration Season): This is the most famous period, especially July to September, when millions of wildebeest and zebra cross the Mara River in Kenya’s Maasai Mara. If you dream of witnessing dramatic river crossings and large predator action, summer is the ideal time.
• June & November (Shoulder Seasons): These months offer fewer crowds, lower prices, and still excellent wildlife viewing. The migration is often visible in northern Serengeti (Tanzania), and the landscapes are lush and green.
• December to March (Calving Season): From January to March, the herds gather in southern Serengeti and Ngorongoro for the great calving season — over 500,000 wildebeest are born in just a few weeks! This attracts predators and offers incredible photography opportunities. The weather is warm and sunny, perfect for a winter escape.
• April to May (Green Season): These are the long rainy months, but they bring dramatic skies, fewer tourists, and stunning green landscapes. It’s a great time for birdwatching, photography, and enjoying exclusive safari experiences at lower prices. Many animals are also in mating season.
