The Franschhoek and Stellenbosch Wine Tour is an unforgettable experience. Taste some of the finest wines produced in the Cape Winelands and learn how to perfectly pair wine varieties with chocolate, cheese and olives.
One of the many fun experiences is the famous “duck parade” at a Stellenbosch wine farm. With a glass of wine in hand and awe-inspiring mountains in the background, this tour is surely one you don’t want to miss, whether you’re a local or international visitor.
The Cape Winelands in the Western Cape is an iconic destination, rich in history and home to some of the finest wine estates in the world. Here are a few highlights you’ll enjoy on this tour:
A view of Table Mountain
Our first stop offers a view of Table Mountain from the beach in the seaside town of Bloubergstrand.
Wine tasting & pairing
The Cape Winelands boast an array of premier wine farms. South Africa is one of the world’s top wine producers with an extensive range to choose from. Pairing wine with chocolate, cheese and olives is considered a skill; one which you can acquire on this tour.
Stellenbosch & duck parade
Stellenbosch is famous for its duck parade with about 1 000 runner ducks venturing out into the vineyards in the mornings to nosh on pests that damage the vineyards. Giant oak trees and Cape Dutch architecture make Stellenbosch one of the most iconic towns in South Africa. Those who enjoy nature, beautiful architecture, fine wine and gourmet food will fall in love with this town.
